I feel very much this way about writing. I have to look back to when I had something to say and now I feel like a dunce. Perhaps this is my year to be a beginner again. Thank you for the inspiration! I’ve missed reading you, but I’ve added you to my Substack. ❤️

Hey! Substack is so much easier than other platforms I’ve used, and blogging isn’t how it used to be. But it’s ok! We can be beginners!

How did you find your therapist? Is your therapist a Christian? Can you direct me on how to find a therapist?

Hi! My therapist is a Christian and I love her, but I tried two others before I found her. Don’t be afraid to try a few before you find a good fit. When I moved to my current area, I googled “Christian therapists city”. I found a website that listed all the therapists in my area along with bios of them. I read bios for days and kept coming back to this one, then called and made an appointment. I hope you find someone that’s a good fit!

What a great little tidbit of knowledge! Also, you must have been decent at weightlifting because you got great results!

I read awhile back that "amateur" is the French word for "lover," in the sense of an enthusiast or "enjoyer." So now when I find that I'm epically bad at something, like I was at weightlifting, I remind myself to be an amateur! 😆 Thanks for this❤️
