Such a great post. The kitten is adorable and I’m rooting for her to be your coop cat. We’ve been wanting a coop cat for a long time!
Also, nope, it’s not redundant about the brown bears; they don’t saturate the entire state fortunately.😁
Thanks for the mention! Our evenings lately have been so full and since that’s when we’re in theory (but obviously not practically) all together, we’re still slooowly making our way through Wolves of Willoughby Chase. And it’s not really a slow book 🫤 but it’s just this season. I did order the others in the series though with our school allotment.
Oh my goodness, Karen, I'll be praying for you! As I have dealt with my share of issues and finally came across the carnivore diet I have seen a lot about EBV, MS, etc. It's hard to think about, as Christians, plants at times being an enemy but man once I finally came to the conclusion of only eating animal based for a while, things drastically improved for me. I ate this way for two solid years and felt amazing. Fell off during the holiday season a few years ago and can't seem to get my motivation back to eating that way again but I can feel it in my body and see it in my eyes and know I truly need to. It's just whats best for me.
I just had to share with you. Just something to check into and read up on. Judy Cho is a Christian and Nutritionist who has done extensive research on the animal based way of eating. Very helpful!
Sorry about the EBV! Take good care of yourself. I had a case of mono when I was 17 that landed me in the hospital for a few days (spleen on the point of rupture). Nasty virus. Thankfully I have not been troubled since then, but, as you say, it still lives in my body....

Praying for deep, thorough healing. 🤍
I will eventually look for more of Aiken’s books. Thanks for the prayers!

Thank you, Angela! I’ll do some reading.

I have a question, if you remember. What kind of pain was the spleen part—dull and achey or sharp?
I definitely remember that it was dull and achy, but hard enough to be significant. Do you have that pain? Mono frequently attacks the spleen....
I had some pretty sharp pain Tuesday evening, but didn’t know it could be related.
Maybe you should see your doctor about it, just to be safe. Medicare is wonderful!
I just scheduled my first visit with a new primary doc (internal medicine). Oct 2. 😂
